South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center “Advocate of the Year” Award

Ken Suggs of Janet, Jenner & Suggs, LLC and Immediate Past President of the American Association for Justice, has been awarded “Advocate of the Year” by the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center.

SCALJC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocacy for low income people in South Carolina. Their mission is to effect systemic change by acting in and through the courts, legislature, administrative agencies, community and the media, and helping others do the same through education, training and co-counseling. For more than 20 years, the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center has improved the quality of life for all South Carolinians by providing such necessities as safe housing, reliable transportation, food, education, and the assurance that our legal system is looking out for those most in need.
