Robert K. Jenner, a principal in the firm of Janet, Jenner & Suggs, brings more than 24 years of experience representing injured consumers nationwide against manufacturers of dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, defective medical devices, tainted blood products and contaminated food.
Mr. Jenner leads the firm’s Mass Tort Division, and has assembled a team of attorneys, paralegals and health care professionals dedicated to prosecuting claims on behalf of injured consumers. Mr. Jenner has a national reputation as a tireless leader fighting against the world’s manufacturers of dangerous drugs, and has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients.
A prolific author, Mr. Jenner has written more than 25 articles published in nationally recognized legal and health care journals. He is also the author of the legal treatise on representing the victims of HIV acquired from defective blood products, Transfusion – Associated AIDS (Lawyers & Judges Publishing Co., 1995).
Mr. Jenner is a frequent lecturer, having been invited to speak on medical-legal issues both nationally and internationally. Mr. Jenner has not only lectured for the American Association for Justice and the Maryland Association for Justice, but also for the American Association of Blood Banks, American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, the Washington Claim Association, the Legal Education Institute, the National Business Institute, and the Institute for Paralegal Education. He has organized and moderated many acclaimed seminars in conjunction with AAJ’s National College of Advocacy on the issues of Vioxx, Hormone Therapy, Baycol, Rezulin, and general pharmaceutical litigation.
Mr. Jenner, his partner, Ken Suggs, and their pharmaceutical team are leaders in the effort to uncover the truth behind the drug companies’ efforts to hide the breast cancer risks of menopausal hormone therapy. Mr. Jenner and Mr. Suggs sit on the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee of the federal Multi-District Litigation for Hormone Therapy. They have teamed together with the country’s finest law firms to uncover the truth about the deceptive promotion of Premarin®, Provera® and Prempro® to millions of unsuspecting physicians and women.
Mr. Jenner has two children, Matt, a college senior at the American University of Paris; and Nikki, a senior at Atholton High School in Columbia, Maryland. He is also an avid scuba diver and is always willing to take suggestions for great dive destinations.
